TERROR inside Meadow Lark
Malaika and Xayah Robinson were taken into San Diego County Child Welfare custody in June 2024. They remain separated from their family today, placed with a non-relative caregiver, Norma Olivares. Their grandfather, mother, friends and their community continue to fight for their return and for accountability within the system. A small group of dedicated advocates has now joined the fight, standing beside this family in their pursuit of justice and reunification.
INSIDE SAN DIEGO’S CHILD KIDNAPPING CONSPIRACY
It has been over a year since our two precious granddaughters were taken from our family by San Diego Child Welfare Services. Every day since has been filled with heartbreak, fear, and a deep, unrelenting ache. We live each day missing them, mourning stolen moments we can never get back. This is our story — a story of love, loss, and the fight to bring our girls home where they belong.
The Hidden Corruption of San Diego CWS: A Family’s Nightmare:
I witnessed the most horrific injustice inside a secret San Diego court — a place where power, not the best interests of children, rules the day.
The Malicious Persecution of Evelyn Lopez:
Evelyn Lopez — a devoted mother who completed every requirement to reunify with her two young daughters — was betrayed by the very system that claimed to protect families. Instead of honoring her progress and dedication, San Diego Child Welfare Services turned against her. Under the direction of senior social worker David Miller, his supervisor Nicole Montzingo, guardian ad litem Lisa Haight and her supervisor Nicole McConn, along with county counsel Jesica Nicole Fellman, the agency abused its unchecked authority to keep Evelyn’s children separated not only from their mother but from their entire loving family.
The children were handed over to a non-relative, Norma Olivares — a woman with no blood relation, presented as a caregiver but proven repeatedly dishonest. She manipulated and threatened Evelyn Lopez: cut ties with the paternal family or lose visits with your own daughters. And she followed through. Under her control, the girls were isolated from everyone who truly loves them, while she spread lies about a grandfather she has never even met — all to tighten her grip. This is not child protection. This is child trafficking disguised as government care.
When I begged Lisa Haight (GAL), the guardian ad litem, tears streaming down my face, to see the pain she was causing — to look at my aging mother breaking down in that courtroom — she turned away coldly. As if we were nothing. As if family love could simply be erased. This is modern-day cruelty. This is sanctioned kidnapping. San Diego CWS, (GAL) — you are destroying families, not protecting them. Our children are not for sale. Our fight will not be silenced.
