San Diego Child Welfare Services Is Failing My Granddaughters — And They’re Not the Only Ones.
Right now, as I write this, San Diego’s Child Welfare Services (CWS) and Children’s Legal Services of San Diego are failing the very children they claim to protect. My granddaughters are being emotionally, mentally, and physically destroyed by a broken system that ignores the truth, silences concerned family members, and allows harm to continue. This is not just a personal tragedy — it is a public failure, and I can’t stay silent any longer.

This is not just emotional harm—they are suffering physically. They are in and out of the hospital as I write this. What kind of “protection” is this? How can anyone look at what’s happening to these innocent children and believe this is in their best interest? These girls should be home. With family. With love. Instead, they are trapped in a system that’s hurting them—breaking their bodies and spirits a little more each day.
I’m speaking out because staying silent is no longer an option. If you have any heart, any belief in justice, any concern for the safety of children—please help bring them home.
