A Grandfather’s Cry for Help

I write to you not as a politician or lawyer, but as a grandfather watching his innocent granddaughters torn apart by a system that has lost its humanity.
In San Diego, California, this regime of Child Welfare Services has acted not to protect children, but to retaliate against a mother and her family for speaking truth. They surveil us, smear us, and now seek to terminate parental rights not for justice, but for revenge.
They were supposed to reunite families. Instead, they cut visits, silenced voices, and turned toddlers into pawns in a cruel experiment of power.
Holy Father, these are God’s children. They cry for their mother. They cry for their family. And the system answers not with compassion, but with punishment.
I ask for your voice, your blessing, your intervention. To remind the world — and this government — that children belong in the arms of their family, not in the grip of retaliation.
Please, Holiness Pope Leo XIV, hear the cry of Malaika and Xayah. Hear the cry of families crushed under this modern-day machinery of cruelty. We beg for international eyes, for moral authority, for the truth to break through the walls of silence.
