In San Diego, Child Welfare Services has shown a chilling pattern: when families uncover disturbing signs of abuse or neglect, the agency doesn’t protect the children — it shifts the blame. Parents and relatives are hit with fabricated allegations, their voices smeared in the record.
The retaliation doesn’t stop there. Families who speak out — even at the Board of Supervisors — face harsher punishment: inhumane, degrading visitation conditions where mothers and children are monitored like criminals, privacy invaded, and dignity stripped away. Instead of protecting the vulnerable, San Diego CWS protects itself, covering up failure through false reports, courtroom manipulation, and the deliberate destruction of family bonds.

Updated – September 2025: My two granddaughters remain hostage in San Diego County’s system. Instead of reunification, Child Welfare Services and the Guardian ad Litem’s office retaliated by placing restraining orders on me — their RFA-approved paternal grandfather, an elder, caregiver, conservator and trustee. This is not child protection. It is punishment for speaking out and exposing abuse, false reporting, and violations of human dignity.
