Calero’s Game Is Up: San Diego’s Dependency Court Exposed

Inhuman treatment — this is their revenge

San Diego’s dependency court in Department 10 at Meadow Lark has stopped being a place of justice. It is now a crime scene. Judge Alexander Calero, his courtroom staff, the County Counsel, the Guardian ad Litem, and Child Welfare Services have turned it into a machine of retaliation, perjury, and case-fixing — and the public deserves to know.

Norma Olivares, a non-relative caregiver, has been rewarded for her alienation, her lies, and her sabotage of reunification. She has made false reports accusing the mother, father, and grandfather of crimes that never happened. The court has protected her instead of protecting the children.

The harm is clear: the eldest child cries and begs to go home, while the youngest screams when strapped into the county van. These are not children thriving — these are children being psychologically tortured. Instead of listening, the court cut the grandfather’s visits as punishment for exposing the abuse.

Everywhere you look in this case, it is inhumane and degrading. Retaliation for speaking out. Perjury written into reports. False statements treated as fact. Case-fixing at the expense of two innocent little girls.

This is not dependency. These children are not “dependents.” They are being held as hostages, and confidentiality does not apply to a crime scene. Federal funds are being misused, funneled into foster care and adoption bonuses while family placement under WIC §361.3 is ignored.

The world needs to know: San Diego is running a child torture and retaliation racket, propped up by perjury, protected by County Counsel, and enforced by Judge Calero.

Updated – September 2025: My two granddaughters remain hostage in San Diego County’s system. Instead of reunification, Child Welfare Services and the Guardian ad Litem’s office retaliated by placing restraining orders on me — their RFA-approved paternal grandfather, an elder, caregiver, conservator and trustee. This is not child protection. It is punishment for speaking out and exposing abuse, false reporting, and violations of human dignity.
