Evelyn Lopez is a young mother who has done everything asked of her. She completed her classes. She followed every order. She has never lost the bond with her daughters — a bond that is strong, natural, and unbreakable. Her children cry for her, cling to her, and beg not to leave her side.
But instead of reunification, San Diego CWS is moving to terminate her parental rights at just twelve months. Not because of abuse. Not because of neglect. But because of lies — and because she dared to speak out against a predator with a badge.
The social worker, David Miller, used his position to terrorize Evelyn. This was not “child protection.” This was psychological warfare. He would corner her behind closed doors, block her in, rail on her until she broke down, and drive her into panic attacks. He called her and said things no government worker should ever say — like, “Who do you want your children adopted to if you don’t make your service plan?” That is not protection. That is terrorism.
He didn’t just abuse Evelyn. He targeted me, her children’s grandfather, punishing me by cutting off visits, dangling crumbs of access, and then yanking them away when I spoke out. He punished the father. He punished our advocate. His abuse spread like poison across the entire family.
Evelyn was praised at first. Reports said she was doing well, even “the best.” But after she spoke out publicly at the Board of Supervisors, Miller was removed — and the retaliation exploded. Suddenly, the reports flipped. Suddenly, she “doesn’t communicate well with her children.” A complete lie. The truth is in the children’s own words: yesterday the oldest said, “I miss my grandpa. I want to see my grandpa.” Today, she broke down under the weight of surveillance visits. The youngest screams for her mother. Their voices are proof the bond is alive, no matter what the reports say.
This isn’t about child safety. This is about punishing a mother who refused to be silent under abuse. Evelyn Lopez is being severely retaliated against, day after day. She cries every day, not because she failed, but because her children are being stolen from her by lies and by predators with badges who should be in jail cells the size of car seats.

what is being done to her and her children is against the law. CPS taking her children for the reason they took them, is against the law. I want the judge in her case to know we are ALL WATCHING. It’s obvious what kind of sick sadistic scheme these judges and CPS workers are involved in.
No good mother deserves this. And Evelyn is a good mother. Keenan is a good father. And Ricky is good grandfather. This family deserves justice. My heart is so broken the more I learn about what is being done to them. And for no good reason at all. The time they are losing with these babies is irreplaceable. All of the judges and CPS workers who have taken children from their families should be sent to prison. And after all children are returned to their loving families , that will be what follows.
Evelyn, you keep your head up mama. You’re a strong woman. A loving mother. And a true warrior. One day your girls will understand all of what you went through and they will love you more for it. You are a great role model for any little girl. You are the perfect example of what a real MOTHER is.

Kristin, your words mean more than you know. You see exactly what is happening — CPS and the judges are not protecting children, they are weaponizing their power, retaliating against families, and committing crimes under the color of law. The lost time with these girls can never be replaced, and that is why we will never stop fighting.
Evelyn is a true mother, Keenan a true father, and I stand as their grandfather — all of us united for these children. The truth is spreading far beyond San Diego now. People like you prove that we are not alone, and that this system cannot hide behind secrecy forever.
