Reports reviewed by this publication reveal a disturbing pattern. False allegations — ranging from rape to child molestation to stalking — have been inserted into official records by Norma Olivares a caregiver with no blood relation to the children. Evelyn Lopez, the children’s mother, has filed sworn statements refuting these claims. Yet, the allegations persist, recycled and reinforced by CWS and echoed in court.
The absurdity deepens with the claim that the grandfather was “rude” or “threatening” to this caregiver — despite the fact that he has never spoken to her or met her in his entire life. These narratives have been manufactured from whole cloth, weaponized by social workers, and rubber-stamped by the Guardian ad Litem’s office.
The retaliation has been ruthless. The grandfather, Ricky Robinson, is not just an RFA-approved caregiver but also the conservator and trustee for his dependent 88-year-old mother. He maintains a stable home, has spent tens of thousands supporting his granddaughters, and has been a steady presence since their birth. Yet his advocacy — blogging, rallies, public testimony before the Board of Supervisors — has been twisted into grounds for punishment. His speech is protected under the First Amendment, but instead of addressing the documented misconduct, the system has chosen to silence him through intimidation.
The treatment has crossed into the inhumane. Social workers were documented hovering during medical visits, following the mother into bathrooms while toddlers were being changed or going potty, and taking notes on their phones. This is not child protection — this is degradation, a violation of human dignity that no family should endure. Toddlers have been turned into pawns in a war of retaliation.
The turning point came on August 12th, 2025. That morning in court, Guardian ad Litem supervisor Nicole McConn confronted the grandfather directly: “Are you Ricky Robinson?” When he confirmed, she demanded that he remove photos of GAL Lisa Haight from his blog. He refused, explaining that Haight had carried out a year-long campaign of character assassination against him. McConn’s response was chilling: “We’ll see what the courts have to say about it.”
A restraining order materialized — not simply against the grandfather, but effectively against his own grandchildren. It severed a blood bond and punished toddlers for loving their family, turning the legal system into a weapon of retaliation.
This is not protection. It is collusion. A caregiver with no biological tie is being shielded and weaponized by county officials to sever children from their blood relatives. The evidence is overwhelming: false reports, harassment, intimidation, retaliation for protected speech, and now restraining orders designed to criminalize family bonds.
At its core, this is a campaign not of child safety but of power — one that strips dignity from an elder caregiver, weaponizes toddlers against their own family, and punishes anyone who dares expose the truth.
Retaliation isn’t policy — it’s a crime.

A government badge doesn’t excuse it. When you retaliate and children suffer, you are the abuser.
Nicole McConn and Norma Olivares are not guardians of children — they are criminals hiding behind government titles. By colluding to fabricate reports, retaliating against protected speech, and weaponizing restraining orders to sever blood ties, they have crossed into violations of California WIC §361.3, civil rights under 42 U.S.C. §1983, and laws against perjury and child endangerment. These are not errors. These are crimes. And crimes demand accountability.
History will remember who stood with the children.
Updated – September 2025: My grandchildren remain hostage in San Diego County’s system. Instead of reunification, Child Welfare Services and the Guardian ad Litem’s office retaliated by placing restraining orders on me — their RFA-approved paternal grandfather, an elder, caregiver, trustee and conservator. This is not child protection. It is punishment for speaking out and exposing abuse, false reporting, and violations of human dignity.
Updated – October 2025: These officials no longer act with humanity or conscience. Their decisions reflect a system stripped of empathy — one that punishes love, silences truth, and violates basic human dignity. My granddaughters remain hostages of bureaucracy, not beneficiaries of justice.
