Nicole McConn: Among the Worst Protectors of Predators in Power
Nicole McConn didn’t come with humility — she came to censor, threaten, and protect predators.
She didn’t apologize for the trauma, the retaliation, or the suffering these little girls have endured. She didn’t show a shred of remorse for the lies her subordinate, Lisa Haight, weaponized to destroy our family.
No — she marched right up to me at the Meadow Lark Courthouse and demanded I take Haight’s photos off my blog.
That’s not humility. That’s arrogance. That’s censorship. That’s an attack on truth, justice, and the First Amendment.
Instead of defending abused children, Nicole McConn defended the predator. Instead of holding Lisa Haight accountable, she tried to silence the family she helped persecute.
We don’t back down. We don’t erase the truth to make predators comfortable. Nicole McConn just outed herself as a senior cog in the corrupt machine — another gatekeeper shielding abusers while children cry for help.
Let’s be absolutely clear:
Lisa Haight spent the last year trying to destroy me — the paternal grandfather — for no reason other than bloodlines.
She fought placement with me despite my RFA approval. She demanded records, made false implications, and launched a personal witch hunt against me. She shielded non-relative caregivers, ignored documented trauma, and backed abusers without flinching.
Nicole McConn backed every bit of it — and then went even further, helping push through a restraining order tied to the very grandchildren at the center of this case.
She didn’t apologize. She didn’t take responsibility. She threatened protected speech for calling out the truth. This is government intimidation. Period.
I refused. I still refuse. I will not take the photos down. I will not stop exposing those who protect predators and silence whistleblowers.
You don’t protect children by attacking the ones fighting for them. You don’t defend justice by threatening speech that shines a light on child torture.
Nicole McConn had her chance to do the right thing — and she chose to stand with the predator.

Update — March 2026: Malaika and Xayah remain held hostage while the entire family continues to endure trauma, retaliation, and ongoing abuse of power. The children are still being kept from the family fighting to bring them home, and the harm has not stopped — it has spread through the mother, grandparents, siblings, and everyone still standing in this fight. Great-grandma is gone, and she should never have died in the crossfire of this system.
Updated – October 2025: These officials no longer act with humanity or conscience. Their decisions reflect a system stripped of empathy — one that punishes love, silences truth, and violates basic human dignity. My granddaughters remain hostages of bureaucracy, not beneficiaries of justice.
Updated – September 2025: My grandchildren remain hostage in San Diego County’s system. Instead of reunification, Child Welfare Services and the Guardian ad Litem’s office retaliated by placing restraining orders on me — their RFA-approved paternal grandfather, an elder, caregiver, conservator and trustee. This is not child protection. It is punishment for speaking out and exposing abuse, false reporting, and violations of human dignity.
Update – August 12, 2025: According to the family, Guardian ad Litem supervisor Nicole McConn pressured the grandfather to remove photos of Lisa Haight. When he refused — citing Haight’s year-long campaign of character assassination — the office went to court and secured a restraining order against his own grandchildren. The family says McConn’s actions continue to terrorize an elder and further prove the system is weaponizing its power instead of working toward reunification.
