And yet — even through confusion and pain — she still smiles whenever her great-granddaughter walks into the room. Their bond is pure: filled with laughter, love, and healing. My granddaughter shows deep, instinctive concern for her great-grandma. She holds her hand, strokes her hair, and reminds her that she is safe and loved. But San Diego CWS — Child Welfare Services — shattered that bond. For the love of money, they tore our family apart. They came with no empathy. No mercy. No understanding of the generations they would harm. In their hands, families are nothing but paperwork and dollar signs. Love, loyalty, sacrifice — none of it mattered to them. They would destroy a child’s future, rip apart a mother’s heart, and break the spirit of a grandmother — all for their own gain. We will not stay silent. Families deserve protection, not destruction. When Speaking the Truth Makes You the Enemy By law, we are all mandated to report suspected child abuse. It is not just a moral duty — it is a legal obligation. I fulfilled that duty when I reported clear, undeniable abuse happening to my granddaughters. I expected the system to protect them. Instead, the system turned against me. I made my report directly to the guardian ad litem, Lisa Haight — the person legally tasked with advocating for my granddaughters’ best interests. I left a detailed, urgent voicemail outlining the abuse they were suffering. Yet no action was taken. No investigation. No protection. No acknowledgment. Instead, the abuse was ignored — worse, it was actively covered up. Two Child Protective Services (CPS) workers, Crystal Felusme and David Miller, not only failed to intervene but also took deliberate steps to silence and discredit me. They fabricated narratives, twisted facts, and labeled me the “bad guy” for daring to speak the truth. Meanwhile, my granddaughters were ripped away from loving family and placed with strangers — individuals who have no blood ties and, in some cases, questionable motives. These so-called “caregivers,” supported by CWS, have said and done things that have placed my very life in danger. They are more focused on protecting their own reputations and careers than the vulnerable children they are sworn to serve. Let’s be clear: this is not a broken system. It is a corrupt system. The people entrusted to protect children are abusing that trust. They silence whistleblowers. They reward negligence. They endanger families.This is bigger than one case.
