Retaliation Disguised as Protection: How San Diego’s System Punishes Whistleblowers
They Carry News That Must Get Through
They share my private address. They walk into my garage. Tell me — who’s stalking who?
Filed August 12, 2025 — the first strike in a campaign of retaliation led by Nicole McConn for Norma Olivares, working through San Diego Child Welfare Services. Three months later they’re still at it—intimidation, disruption, and pressure that have disturbed my home, my 88-year-old mother’s peace, and what should have been my quiet golden years.
When a county agency or its associates start filing restraining orders against a lawful, approved relative caregiver, something is deeply wrong. I am a licensed and RFA-approved grandfather who has fought for my grandchildren’s safety and reunification. Instead of addressing the real abuse and misconduct, they have turned their attention to silencing the messenger.
The Retaliation Pattern
The restraining orders from Mara Vale and Nicole McConn—with Chantal Hill, Nicole Montzingo, and others tied to San Diego Child Welfare Services—are not about protection; they are about retaliation. They appeared only after my public speech and blogging exposed what is happening behind closed doors.
If what I’ve written were untrue, there would be no reason to fear my words. But instead of disproving me, they are trying to ban me from contact with the very grandchildren I’ve helped raise and supported. That speaks volumes.
The Contradiction
A restraining order against a peaceful, law-abiding, RFA-approved grandfather does not protect children—it isolates them. It hides the truth. And it punishes family members for exercising their First Amendment rights.
These actions prove what my blog has always stood for: exposing misuse of power, protecting children from system-caused trauma, and demanding transparency in child-welfare proceedings.
Escalating Harassment
On October 21, 2025, while I was sitting in my car inside my closed garage with the windows up and my back turned, a man suddenly appeared inside the garage and slapped papers onto my side-view mirror. He never knocked, announced himself, or asked permission to enter. That was not lawful service; it was unlawful entry and intimidation.
No family under government supervision should have to fear who might walk into their home or garage. This is not lawful service—it is harassment and trespass, plain and simple. My duty is to protect my family, which includes shielding my 88-year-old dependent mother and my daughter-in-law from unwanted entry, fear, and potential harm.
The Truth Hurts — Retaliation Speaks for Itself
If Norma Olivares were not trying to keep my granddaughters, she would not be fighting so hard to silence the truth. You don’t file restraining orders against a loving, law-abiding grandfather who has never met you unless you are trying to cover something up.
If these officials and caregivers truly cared, they would support the children’s bond with their blood family and ensure those ties stay strong. Instead, their actions show the opposite—choices that put control above compassion and keep the children from the relatives who love them most.
The false allegations, the reports, the lies—they show one thing: her actions are driven by fear of exposure. She is trying to erase the paternal family, to keep the truth buried and the children isolated.
Every report she has written, every accusation she has made, and every attempt to silence this blog proves my point. The truth hurts—and that is why they are running scared.
If Norma Olivares were not trying to take my grandchildren, she would never have pushed social workers to write unthinkable things about me. Instead of fabricating reports, she could have spoken with me and learned the truth—that I am a calm, law-abiding, and RFA-approved grandfather who has cared for my family for years. I have always been willing to cooperate for the children’s sake. Her refusal to communicate and her decision to weaponize the system show intent, not protection.
Closing Statement
This blog is not about hate or harassment. It is about truth, accountability, and children’s rights. Every document and filing I post is factual and verifiable.
I will not remove my website, my documentation, or my voice. What I have written is the truth—supported by records, filings, and evidence. These pages exist to expose wrongdoing and protect my grandchildren from further harm.
Attempts to silence or intimidate me through restraining orders, harassment, or threats will not succeed. My speech is protected under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
I will continue to speak peacefully, lawfully, and publicly—because silence allows abuse to continue.
