San Diego CWS, Children’s Legal Services of San Diego, and non-relative caregiver Norma Olivares targeted this family through false reporting, retaliation, and character assassination. Reports were used to paint the paternal grandfather as dangerous through extreme accusations that he denies completely, including claims of sexual misconduct and abuse. Those accusations were false, destructive, and written into the record in a way that put a law-abiding senior citizen under suspicion and stigma.
The damage did not stop with the grandfather. These false statements were part of a larger pattern of harm aimed at separating the children from their blood family, cutting off visitation, and poisoning the court against the very people fighting to protect them. False reporting like this does not protect children. It destroys families, corrupts cases, and leaves lasting trauma behind.
This family maintains that these allegations were fabricated or twisted into reports to justify retaliation, block family connection, and manufacture fear around the paternal side. No family should have to live under that kind of attack. No grandparent should be branded with monstrous accusations through paperwork and hearsay while trying to love and protect his own grandchildren.
Anyone else in San Diego who has been smeared, falsely reported on, or targeted through dependency paperwork should know this: you are not alone. These tactics survive in silence. They weaken when families document them, expose them, and stand together.
