This is not arson because it is not an attempt to start a fire of any sort.
He held a cigarette lighter to solid timber.
This cannot not be expected to ignite a self sustaining fire.
There is no reason to believe that Keenan wished to cause a fire or destroy the building.
Keenan is accused of using the a lighter to make marks on the building.
This is not different from using a pen to do the same.
Keenan is accused of burning a piece of paper.
Paper is neither permanent nor durable, it is disposable.
Paper exposed to the sun and wind deteriorates in a matter of weeks.
Paper exposed to rain is rendered useless immediately.Any paper on the outside of a building cannot be expected to last.
A single sheet of paper held up to solid timber cannot be expected to ignite it. The piece of paper he allegedly lit did not leave a soot mark.
Evidently it was nowhere near sufficient to start a fire – as you would expect if you had ever made a camp fire. Anyone who has ever made a camp fire, or lit a wood stove, knows that it takes a great deal more to get a plank of wood to take light. It is almost impossible to get a plank to sustain fire if heat & hot air are not trapped against it.

It is common practice to burn garden waste and waste paper rather than putting it in the trash.
Thus Keenan burning the sheet of paper is not a greater offense than throwing the sheet of paper in the trash.
It was not Keenan’s right to make marks, with a flame, burn a piece of paper, or make marks by any other means, but these are misdemeanors, not an attempt to destroy a building.
Extradition to Florida / Exile from the US
I have transcripts of Judge Goodman saying she wants to send him where he will be beaten up and raped and more. The paper trail is clear and visible as looking through non-tinted glass. Goodman punished him by using his own mother, keeping them separated, mentally abusing him and his mother. Goodman knew Keenan has been crying out for his mother for years. Its documented in transcripts and psychological evaluations throughout the years.
Goodman is a very irrational and sadistic judge period. Goodman has destroyed many children & families. One day we “hope” there will be criminal charges filed on her with a conviction, then justice will be served. “Hope”, is what Goodman took away from us, for Amy to get well.
There is a report that Keenan was sexually assaulted in detention at 8 years of age. I have other transcripts of Goodman terrorizing him with that horrific incident, experience.
I’m sure you saw the video of Justin Caldwell being beaten up.
There is Christopher Sholly’s account of his arm being broken by a guard after complaining of abuse.
I know both of these kids parents. You may have their phone numbers. You may contact them anytime.
Missouri courts could not claim that “they did not know” or “lacked evidence”, when Goodman carries out her threat.
Keenan’s emotional disturbance has been caused by abuse at the hands of the authorities.
Before the civil war anti-slavery states refused to extradite escaped slaves, as it would be an abuse of their human rights.
I’m asking you to do the same for Keenan, “stop extradition”, to protect him from any further emotional, physical, chemical harm and abuse.
We strongly feel and I have reasons to believe Keenan would never receive a fair trial in Union Missouri.
If Missouri cannot offer Keenan refuge from Florida, Then I Ricky Robinson, father of Keenan Robinson, am asking you Christina Carr as Keenan Robinson’s public defender to file a formal request to the proper parties to have my son Keenan Robinson exiled from the United States of America and to allow him to leave the US to apply for refugee status in the European Union.

Absolutely ruined this child’s life, as they have my Son. What the State of Florida has done
To numerous children, is abuse them physically and mentally in these so called programs.
My Son, being one of them. I have documentation of abuse not only committed on my Son,
But many others. We currently have a suite against the private contracting company hired
By the Department of DJJ here in Florida for abuse done on my Son. This abuse leaves
Lasting damage to these Children. What Keenan has done may be wrong but does not
Constitute a Felony. He is a CHILD, doing mischievous things, and should be dealt as
Such. In today’s Society, our Children are no longer allowed to be children.

Too many Children are being thrown into State institutes for being “JUST CHILDREN!”
This needs to stop, the no tolerance policies have to be banned!! Children are not

Thank you for taking the time to read this;
I don’t EVER forward anything, but below is a letter to my “nephew`s” public defender, or prosecutor maybe, from his father. Keenan just lost his mother (my best friend) tragically on Christmas day 2008, and deliberately with cruel intent kept from his mother! he has been in trouble for riding a “stolen bike’ for some blocks (in Florida 2004), and for making black marks on a park pavilion in Union, MO last month. Union, MO now has him locked up for Arson (when nothing was destroyed) and threatening to send him back to Florida per extradition!! Florida not violated his human rights in several ways, they prosecuted him at (ages 9-11) kept him locked up like a murderer for about 2 years of his childhood at (ages 11-12 1/2) and now at age barely 14. They are threatening this CHILD with a possible of indeterminate years in the system. They are destroying any chance this poor baby has at any sort of a normal life. Please take a look and visit the website FreeKeenan Most importantly forward this to any and everybody you know, someone out there has to have the answer to saving this child’s life. Leave comments and any suggestions. His father has gone to extreme lengths to make this case public, with little luck. Keenan has been admitted to a hospital. he now wants to kill himself and others they say. Just a month 1/2 ago he was doing so well and now because he was showing off (like all kids do) He sees no way out of this miserable life our “justice system” (you know, the one who is supposed to protect us from violent criminals like 9 year old’s who ride “stolen” bicycles for 5 blocks) has created for him, and he only just turned 14! To Whom It May Concern,
I feel the need to write something to attest to the character of Keenan Robinson. I am not a relative, nor am I a part of the system that seems intent on destroying him. I am merely an impartial, taxpaying citizen who is extremely concerned about how he is being treated. A few years ago by pure chance I was riding in a taxicab and Keenan’s father, who was my driver, shared Keenan’s story with me in the hopes I could offer some assistance as a journalist. Keenan has been a part of my life and my prayers since that day. I have both visited Keenan while he was incarcerated and spent time with him in “the real world”. He spent a weekend in my home this past summer. I would mostly just like people to know that Keenan is NOT a hardened criminal or even a bad boy. He is a typical American boy who speaks excitedly about his hopes and dreams for his future. He can eat an amazing amount of pizza. He is a highly intelligent, very articulate, young man with a great sense of humor and a very sweet nature. He desperately longs to be a part of normal childhood activities such as football, camping, bicycle riding, and having a pet. He is a CHILD! Keenan has been robbed of everything we as Americans hold dear: freedom, family, even baseball and apple pie. WAKE UP AMERICA!!! Your child could be next! Where is the outcry for Keenan and all the other children being abused by the system we fund?! We have adult predators walking freely amongst us, please look at the statistics, both nationwide and especially Missouri. The “average” child molester or rapist in Missouri gets probation, ZERO JAIL TIME, for their first offense. Clay County, Missouri is known nationwide for being soft on offenses committed against children and women. The “average” murderer serves only 4-5 years on their sentence before being released. Why are these children being held longer than adult rapists and murderers for petty childhood foolishness?! Keenan has already done an adult murder sentence basically. It is VERY painful to watch this happen to a child. I am outraged! I can think of better ways for my tax money to be spent. For one, how about we try incarcerating the people who are dangerous to children and society instead of locking up the children? Maybe they are just that confused.

Dear World and Heavenly Father,
Union, Missouri is committing an act of relentless persecution and malicious prosecution to my son, a young teen who just turned 14 in a secured detention center in Franklin County, Union, Missouri. Keenan is grieving a life threatening illness of a significant person. Keenan is a bereaved child, who lost his mother 9 months ago on Christmas morning. A heart broken child, “bereaved” , labeled emotionally handicapped locked up in a system and forcibly isolated from his “family” and the world. A time any human being needs family, friends and lots of support. Keenan has been treated like some sort of heinous criminal since the tender age of 8. A child’s cry for his mom and never gave up. Union uses aggressive force to indeterminately punish him. This barbaric treatment has been on going for more than 8 years now! “Will it ever end”? Union, Missouri has charged him with 2nd degree arson, littering and whatever else they feel like tacking on. Three other kids involved to accessory to the fact were never charged, arrested or to my knowledge ever questioned. We thought we have moved to a nice, quiet community with good schools, and I mistakenly assumed the court here would be civil to children with a little bit of sympathy, compassion, and most of all intelligence. What I’m seeing is that the court here in Union, Missouri are nice people on the outside with two faces. On the inside, cold evil hearts and souls. “Bullies”, to a disabled, sad and frightened little boy! Thank God the facility that my son is being held in, from “loving family” and from the world, is well taken care of by good people. Keenan is trying his best to maintain his sanity. He wants to come home! Other kids would of already been back at home sweet home. One person in charge of all keeps my grieving son in secure captivity and forced isolation from “loving family” and from the world! It’s where they plan on sending him that will destroy all, and the rest of him! Keenan needs to be free. Annie’s Hope ~ Providing support for children, teens and families who are grieving You cannot give a child stability he needs in order to heal, by trying to erase his family and denying him normality and control over his life. The things that have been done to Keenan would be the most heinous crimes were they not done by agents of the government. Where do these ruthless people come from? They psychologically torture my son’s mind and soul! When did a CHILD ever have to EARN their God given “family”, “grandmother” into their life??? “It’s not working Union”!!!! Your not hurting me, just my child! Week by week, day by day, minute by minute, second by second, you stop all “hope” for Keenan to live in a world of normality. Your pathetic, you only sicken me! You sicken many! Any state and court that refuses to refuge a “child” from further abuse of any kind, teams up with the other, is as savage as the other!Keenan’s problems are caused by excessive and brutal coercion by adults who would dread to see their own child treated this way. Union, your letting the real criminals get away! Does Sarah ring a bell? What a shame no one is brave or competent enough to go after the real criminals. Instead you bully and torture one emotional little boy, who was abused by the hands of authority! And now motherless! updates on this story at a later date in time, and about how an untrained CPS investigator here in Union, Missouri found and alienated me on June 9th, 2009, while the mistaken case in Clayton, Missouri was still pending, nearly 40 miles away! Accusing me with fabricated false allegations while Keenan was still in the hands of Clayton, Missouri CPS captivity and forcibly drugged. She didn’t have my name correct! She’s looking for someone else close to my name, but not close enough, while she falsely alters the original report right on the spot in front of my friend, in my friends front yard! ” Can we say coincidence”??? updates for all details and name at a later time. 10/10/09: I visit Keenan today. He was alright, but distressed, looking pale, circles underneath his eyes. Keenan’s deep worries ages him rapidly. He had a breakdown into the night. I told staff just let me talk with him and I’ll pull him out of his breakdown. “Well it worked”! He went straight to his room like he promised me after we ended our call. I Love You Keenan!!! We all Love you Keenan!!! Just hang in there! He doesn’t deserve to do anymore hard time! There are other remedies and ways for kids to take responsibilities for kid actions. I have never seen my son look this depressed in his entire life! Forcibly banned from his only mother. Two years of Florida’s malicious prosecution by Catina Wilson at a tender age of nine. A judge that let it continue on and knew what his problem was all along! Loosing his mom this past Christmas. While Keenan sits inside brick walls, sorry for what he did, no one seems to care. Desperately wanting and needing to come home. Wishing he could just wake up from this never ending nightmare. Slowly being pushed over the edge to the brink of depression and possible suicidal thoughts. Let Keenan live in normality, without forced isolation from family and the world. 10/17/09:I’m not suggesting that Keenan should not be punished for vandalism, only that it should be proportionate and chosen to be effective not destructive, and his actions should not be exaggerated by his accusers, Union, Missouri, and one who pretends to defend him but favors the prosecution. There is no way for Keenan to receive a fair trial here in Union, Missouri! One of the three woman persecuting my son stated to me on 9/8/09 that she would not even consider lowering the charge. She told me how this is her community, and that in it self told me that we were not welcome here. The crimes committed to my son by the CPS and DJO Sarah Renschen from St. Louis County Family Court are far more criminal and heinous than Keenan has ever done, and will do in a life time! These predators kid-jacked my son, forcibly drugged him on multiple drugs, and much more! Why are you not arresting these heinous criminals against our God given children and families? Leslie, Keenan’s grandma is very concern and told me she needs him home for Christmas. We need him home! This Christmas, will be the 1st year anniversary of his mothers death. Union, refuses to let him grieve. I can only imagine what Keenan, a bereaved child is going through. They call this help??? Criminalizing, shackling, full court proceedings, marking children felons, isolating and erasing loving family till attempted suicide! The most he destroyed was a piece of paper! After our phone conversation, I learned he was stigmatized by another youth about his mother which caused him to snap that led into a fight between the two youths. Union, Missouri denies Keenan’s, and my request to continue help for him on the outside. Keenan needed a grieving organization for all children, youths and adults who are grieving the loss of a significant one. Can you imagine being barely 14 years old, having group sessions and needing to talk about your mother in front of a group of tough teens who are not grieving a loss one, but serving time as criminals. I have asked for a compassionate release for Christmas which will mark the 1st year of Amy, his mothers death so we can be together in comfort. Keenan is not allowed to grieve in normality. Therefore I will not mourn. Six court officials just in Union Missouri alone including his own defense are responsible for Keenan’s therapy of destruction, sinking him into deep depression which lead to suicidal thoughts to an attempt of hanging himself with his own sweater. Could it just be a coincidence that Clayton, Missouri new about Keenan’s arrest from the get go? Or just in plain cahoots? Union, and Clayton, Missouri wanted so much to send Keenan back to Florida’s brutal prisons of abuse and deaths done to our children! 1+1 alike = 2 backfires!!
