PLEASE DO NOT LET FLORIDA EXTRADITE MY 13 YEAR OLD SON KEENAN BACK TO FLORIDA’S BRUTAL JUVENILE PRISONS. CHILDREN GET ABUSED, BEAT UP, RAPED AND KILLED! FLORIDA BREEDS AND CREATES NEW GENERATIONS OF DISTURBED CHILDREN. FLORIDA AND ONE JUDGE DESTROYED OUR HAPPY FAMILY!

9/22, 30/09 Keenan remains in secure detention while waiting extradition to Florida, seeing no light at the end of the tunnel. Just pure darkness with no freedom. Florida juvenile jail’s are set up for pure darkness and brutal abuse. Some kids are locked away for 5 – 15 years before they are ever free again, if they live long enough. Locked up, kept away from family is causing Keenan to go insane, he’s having emotional breakdowns, because of not only what he has gone through since the age 6, but all that he has endured in just less than a year, including the death of his mother on Christmas! Keenan was finally freed last year from jail at age 12 after serving 15 months hard time, reunited with his mom, his mom dies on Christmas, we come back home to the mid-west, he gets “abducted, forcibly drugged” by the MO CPS and held in CPS captivity in North St. Louis City! A friend invited us here to Union, Missouri who knew Amy, Keenan’s mom and offered to help. Keenan enrolled in school on time and he was doing better than anyone cares to recognize. He’s a kid with some imperfections. All the Florida abuse plus grieving due to his mom’s death caused him to act out and receive a school suspension, kicked off the football team, placed in handcuffs, escorted to juvenile detention. Keenan’s admitted to a psych ward for a few days, and this time he was not forced on any drugs! He then came home and was fine. One weekend night a girl friend of his called and lured him out of the house. He allegedly made a stupid mistake, gets locked back up. Then to top it all off he’s told by the court he is going back to Florida! Going back to that would cause any child or adult to loose their sanity. Addressed to the court Keenan’s to remain in secure detention because he is a flight risk???? He’s been treated and criminally prosecuted like an adult since 8 years old of age. He is a 13 years old child! I speculate he has an imaginary passport with a massive bankroll. If so, where is all his money? Hidden in a swift account? I’d like to retain him an OJ dream team! Plus we wouldn’t be living here in this country if that was the case. Maybe someone has watched too much law & order? He was looking so forward for the first snowfall. He has waited and wanted snow for many years. Christmas this year he will likely be will be locked in a Florida cage, or a cage wherever. Except this Christmas is not going to be like everyone else s Christmas, which is just around the corner. This Christmas will mark the 1st anniversary of his mother’s death! A time when any child or adult will need his family more than ever!
They do the exact opposite for the help he really needs and deserves. Keenan is labeled an emotionally handicap child, he is also a bereaved child, forbidden to grieve. They expect Keenan to process his thoughts and behave like us adults with fully developed brains! The system he’s caught up in is set up for nothing but failure!
Keenan, charged with littering, 2nd degree arson. He allegedly burned a couple of black marks on the pavilion and lit a piece of paper on fire. Allegedly all caught on video. Three other kids were with him, and none of them arrested and charged with accessory to the fact! While his stay in detention, more criminal charges have been tacked on for destruction of a shower shoe and a hole in a plastic cup. Someone after court informed me of an assault charge on a police officer while 6 had to restrain him? I still have no knowledge of this.
It doesn’t take rocket science to figure out this is sending him off the deep end. But what would they care, it’s not their child! It’s all about the money, power, control, their meal ticket, etc.! At the end of the day they go home to their family and children, wake up in the morning, have eggs over easy and their bacon sweet. So take the easy way out, send him back to Florida that created him, finish destroying him. Florida, the place that violated our human rights, abused him, destroyed our family! And of all things, stopped us from hope! Hope for a young beautiful sick mother to get well! Florida, the last place being with his mom and where he learned of her death on Christmas, 2008. Keenan does way more good things than bad. No one ever praises him for his good. It’s time for a new generation court for kids with reverse psychology than the courts that are criminalizing our babies and causing severe psychological damage to our children. Instead of allowing him to have the proper help for grieving, they keep him under lock and key! Slowly and surely driving and steering him towards depression! October updates on Keenan: I call him daily, see him 3 to 4 times a week. He has regained and is hanging on to his sanity in spite of the psychological torture they do to his mind. But keep in mind Keenan his locked up in a civil facility with civil people who are working well and hard with him. He is doing well with schooling, he is on level 2 out of 3, which I hear 3 is just around the corner, and he is not forced on any drugs! Just like any human or animal, it took him time to adjust to being caged. I’ve helped him to ease his mind of the horrific return to Florida. Here in Union he is in locked up with his own culture for once where no one will walk by him and dangerously attack his head, body, or try raping him and no full grown men or women, staff in Florida who are paid to watch them are known to have abuse children psychologically and or physically, to cause or inflict serious injuries or even death upon him.

Is Keenan in jail or with you? They have gotten so crazy about charging kids with crimes and trumped up charges for typical childhood misbehavior. Its only going to get worse the older he gets. I think his acting out and problems all stem from being in the juvenile system from such a young age and all the separation from his mother. Plus all the meds he has been put on periodically. I really think all Keenan needs is one really good counselor that he sees regularly and some mentoring, especially from someone who maybe got into some trouble in their youth and then went on to succeed in life. I am afraid that the longer this in and out of jail as a child cycle continues the more lost to that lifestyle he will become. Its a sad situation. Keenan deserved a childhood and he has been robbed of that entirely. From what I’ve heard Missouri has a good free mental health service through the state that offers counseling. I realize of course that Florida’s children are treated worse than animals. As long as you are in Missouri I would plead with them to offer some services because I know they have both counseling and mentoring programs. If he is sent back down here then I would be prepared for the worst. I will pray about it.

I have seen many cases like this and it is a travesty. In time you will see that it will get even worse. As a young boy I remember well doing a few dumb things and before I knew it I was caught up in a system that almost destroyed my entire life. The Florida Department of Family and Children’s Services and the Florida Department of Juvenile Justices’ system are very dangerous agencies.
It is no more than a thundering avalanche of bad policies that will destroy a child’s entire life within months. Both systems are so over-burdened that no one cares about the/any single child any longer. All they see is the big picture and as long as they “move them along,” so they are out of sight, the problem (in their eyes) has been solved. The Florida system (years ago) lost all compassion for children and/or their families. Former Florida orphanage facilities became the juvenile courts dropping off ground for hiding children in the system as a measure of trying to cover up their mistakes and lack of oversight. The only ones who ended up suffering were the children and their families. No one has had the gumption to stand up and make the changes that should have been made many years ago.
