At the October 1, 2025 Board of Supervisors meeting, advocate Audra Morgan stood proudly holding up a t-shirt with the faces of Malaika and Xayah Robinson — two little girls stolen from their family.

But instead of showing the truth, the county cameras shifted away. Why? Because County Counsel ordered the communications department to hide their images.

This is not child protection. This is obstruction of justice. Even staff inside the communications office admitted it: “County Counsel told us to block the children’s faces.”

They can try to censor a t-shirt, but they cannot erase the truth.

San Diego County is terrified of exposure — terrified of the cries, the trauma, and the undeniable proof that Malaika and Xayah belong with their blood family. By hiding their faces, the County hides their crimes: sexual abuse cover-ups, retaliation, and child theft.

“Say their names. Show their faces. These are not secrets — they are stolen children. And no restraining order, no censorship, no cover-up will erase the truth.”
