AMY MARIE BROWN 11/4/1977-12/25/2008 (REST IN PEACE)

On Christmas morning, Amy passed away in the state of Delaware. The cause is still unknown.

Amy was one of the sweetest souls to ever walk this earth. Her life was deeply disturbed by illness and by court orders that cut her off from love, family, and support. She was cast aside, pushed into isolation, and ultimately left to suffer alone—until the day she died.

Florida continues to prosecute Keenan over a minor childhood incident, and I will never forgive the State of Florida for what it did to our family—or to so many other victims. Amy lived for her son, Keenan. She struggled every single day, and Florida would not allow us to give her the love and family support she desperately needed and deserved.

In 2002, the Santa Rosa County court system treated Amy as if she were a monster and discarded her as if her life had no value. They were wrong. Tragically wrong.

My son and I are in complete shock. We want to leave Florida and return home so we can grieve and find closure. Life will never be the same without Amy. The pain of knowing we will never speak to her or see her again is unbearable. Even during the years she was kept from us, just knowing she was alive gave us hope—that one day she could be saved from the loneliness forced upon her.

We all loved you, Amy.

I never imagined that such a beautiful Florida coastline could hide such a cruel and sadistic court system—one that destroys families and harms children. If we had never moved from Illinois, you would have received the proper help and support years ago. I pleaded to leave Florida three years ago, but instead, the state continued a malicious prosecution of Keenan—starting when he was just nine years old—punishing him for missing his mother and worrying about her for so long after she was forcibly removed from our lives.

Forgive me, Amy, for the decisions I made while trusting a system that lied, falsified records, and twisted our family apart. Florida DCFS violated our human rights and betrayed us when we were honest from the very beginning.

I will always love you.

Keenan will always love you more than anyone in the universe.

I promise I will take care of our baby K the best I can.

I believe that as you left this world—on Jesus’s birthday—your soul finally found peace.

Rest in love, Amy.

We Love you Amy Marie (Brown) Robinson!

With All My Love, Eternity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She was a good person and I am glad to have called her a friend! My heart is with her son and his father cause they are still having to deal with the Florida judicial system (the people responsible for this tragedy) You will be missed when your needed the most.
