Violation of Human Dignity – ICCPR Art. 7

They tried to contain it local, now it’s gone global.

SAY THEIR NAMES BRING THEM HOME

Inhumane. Degrading. Unconstitutional.

This is what San Diego County CWS calls “family visitation”.

An elderly dependent (age 88), two children desperate to go home, their RFA approved grandfather and their mother—crammed into a surveillance room under constant watch by two San Diego CWS agency staff. This is not reunification. This is retaliation.

By law, families have the right to be free from harassment, humiliation, and emotional abuse (California Welfare & Institutions Code § 16001.9, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Articles 5 & 12, U.S. Constitution – 1st & 14th Amendments).

The children’s only “crime” is having a family who spoke up to get a predator removed. And for that, San Diego CWS punishes them—denying visits, degrading their dignity, and destroying the little time they get together.

Your most private moments, violated. During diaper changes and bathroom breaks, agency staff linger at the door — peeking through the crack, texting, and watching. No one here committed a crime. This isn’t “monitoring for safety.” This is targeted retaliation.

Such conduct violates basic human dignity and falls under prohibited degrading and inhumane treatment in both U.S. and international human rights law.

Violation of Human Dignity – ICCPR Art. 7

CWS cut my visits after I passed out flyers exposing their abuse.

So I’m showing the world how they’ve treated us these past weeks — two social workers hovering over an RFA-approved grandfather (me), a mother, her babies, and a dependent elderly family member in degrading, humiliating conditions.

Under oppressive and humiliating surveillance during visits.

I was there. I am an RFA-approved grandfather and eyewitness. An 88-year-old dependent elder, two young children, and their mother were crammed into a surveillance room under constant watch by San Diego County CWS agency staff.

This is not “family visitation.” This is targeted retaliation.

By law, families have the right to be free from harassment, humiliation, and emotional abuse (California Welfare & Institutions Code §16001.9, Universal Declaration of Human Rights – Articles 5 & 12, U.S. Constitution – 1st & 14th Amendments).

Our only “crime” was speaking out publicly to have a predator removed from our case. For that, San Diego CWS punishes us — denying visits, degrading our dignity, and destroying the little time we get together.

I took this photo myself. I was in that room.

During diaper changes and bathroom breaks, a CWS social worker stood at the bathroom door, peeking through the crack, texting, and watching. My grandchildren, their mother, my elderly mother — and I — were all subjected to this.

No one in that room had committed a crime. This was not “monitoring for safety.” This was deliberate humiliation, intimidation, and punishment for protected speech.
Such conduct violates basic human dignity and falls under prohibited degrading and inhumane treatment in both U.S. and international human rights law.

This post documents inhumane treatment, retaliation, and rights violations by San Diego CWS on August 5 and August 12, 2025. Evidence includes photographs of surveillance, my sworn declaration, and details of courtroom retaliation.

DECLARATION OF RICKY G ROBINSON

I, Ricky G Robinson, declare as follows:

1. Background

I am the paternal grandfather of two minor children currently in the custody of San Diego County Child Welfare Services (CWS). I am an RFA-approved caregiver and have been actively involved in advocating for my grandchildren’s safety and return to family care. I make this declaration based on my own personal knowledge and can testify competently to the facts stated herein.

2. Protected Speech and Immediate Retaliation

On June 24, 2025, I exercised my constitutional right to free speech by speaking publicly at the San Diego County Board of Supervisors meeting about misconduct by CWS and naming individuals responsible for retaliation against my family. Shortly afterward, I distributed informational flyers to the public exposing this misconduct.

Immediately after these protected activities, CWS retaliated against me by:
Cutting or restricting my visits with my grandchildren.
Placing my family — including an 88-year-old dependent elder, the children’s mother, and the minors — under inhumane, degrading surveillance during visits.
Assigning two social workers to hover over our visits specifically “because of the grandfather’s recent conduct” — referring to my lawful, protected speech.

3. August 5, 2025 – Surveillance and Inhumane Conditions

On August 5, 2025, I attended a scheduled visitation with my grandchildren, their mother, and my elderly mother. We were placed in a small visitation room under constant watch by two social workers.

I personally took a photograph of a CWS social worker stationed directly outside the bathroom door while my family used it for diaper changes and restroom breaks. The door was slightly ajar, and the worker periodically looked inside while texting on her phone.

No one in that room had committed any crime or posed any danger. This was not “monitoring for safety” — it was deliberate humiliation, intimidation, and punishment for my protected speech.

This conduct violates California Welfare & Institutions Code §16001.9 (right to dignity and privacy), the U.S. Constitution (First and Fourteenth Amendments), and international law prohibiting inhumane and degrading treatment (ICCPR, Article 7; UDHR, Articles 5 & 12).

4. Suppression of Bonding and Exculpatory Evidence

In addition to the trauma videos and surveillance photos, I have numerous photographs and videos of my grandchildren happy, safe, and comfortable in my presence and in their mother’s arms. These images show genuine bonding, affection, and trust, and they directly contradict the false narrative created by CWS and the court to justify our separation.

Judge Alexander M. Calero has sought to have these images removed from public view. I believe this is an attempt to suppress exculpatory evidence that supports reunification and disproves claims of danger or unfitness. Removing such images is not about child protection — it is about controlling the narrative and erasing proof of a healthy, loving family relationship.

5. Courtroom Confrontation and Ejection

During the August 12, 2025, hearing before Judge Alexander M. Calero, I stated to the court:
“You are torturing my two grandchildren. You need to give the hostages back to us.”

Judge Calero demanded that I apologize to the court in order to remain. I refused, telling him the court owed me an apology. He also demanded that I promise confidentiality. I replied:
“Not if it violates my constitutional right.”
I did agree to promise not to disrupt proceedings, but I refused to apologize and refused to waive my constitutional rights.

Before my removal, I demanded of Judge Calero:
“Did you order that hit on me? Did you order the inhumane, degrading treatment on me, my mother, my family, and the following of Evelyn to the bathrooms and peeking in the cracks?”
Judge Calero would not answer. He remained silent. I was then ejected from the courtroom.

6. Immediate Medical Retaliation After My Removal

Minutes after my removal from the courtroom, County Counsel Jessica Nicole Fellman introduced a proposal to administer unnecessary vaccinations to my two- and three-year-old granddaughters — against the wishes of both parents.

The children’s mother and her attorney objected and requested additional time to prepare a defense. There was no legitimate medical urgency for this proposal. The timing, immediately after my removal, and the lack of necessity indicate this was punitive and retaliatory in nature.

7. Pattern of Collusion and Abuse

This is not an isolated incident. CWS staff, county counsel, and the current foster caregiver have engaged in a coordinated effort to:
Favor Norma Olivares the caregiver over the biological family regardless of the children’s best interests.
Smear me, the children’s parents, and other family members in official reports.

Hide more than 500 pages of medical records from the family.
Approve unnecessary and invasive medical procedures, including tooth extractions and proposed vaccines, without parental consent.

Retaliate against me for exposing these actions to the public and in official forums.
These actions are documented through photographs, text messages, emails, official reports, and recorded proceedings.

8. Conclusion

The conduct described above is part of a sustained and escalating campaign of retaliation and intimidation against me, my family, and my grandchildren for exercising our constitutional rights. It includes inhumane and degrading treatment, suppression of positive bonding evidence, and punitive interference in visitation and medical decisions.

I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California and the United States of America that the foregoing is true and correct.

Executed on this 12th day of August, 2025, at San Diego, California.

For over a year, social workers, supervisors, county counsel, caregivers, and even the court have waged a smear campaign against me. They cut my visits, invent lies, and retaliate — all to make me into their example. But I’m not bowing down. I’m a 67-year-old grandfather who refuses to accept corruption as normal. If they can target me, they can target anyone. I will not just fight for my granddaughters — I’ll lead others to see that they don’t have to take this, because the truth is, they already have your children.

Interesting to see my blog reaching readers in county leadership. Every view is proof the truth is spreading. Families will not be silenced, and those in power can no longer pretend they don’t know what’s happening.

Updated – September 2025: My two granddaughters remain hostage in San Diego County’s system. Instead of reunification, Child Welfare Services and the Guardian ad Litem’s office retaliated by placing restraining orders on me — their RFA-approved paternal grandfather, an elder, caregiver, conservator and trustee. This is not child protection. It is punishment for speaking out and exposing abuse, false reporting, and violations of human dignity.
