INSIDE SAN DIEGO’S CHILD TRAFFICKING NETWORK (CTN)

On the morning of October 28, 2025, Malaika and Xayah Robinson’s 88-year-old great-grandmother in San Diego County underwent emergency brain surgery following a sudden brain bleed. She remains in recovery, demonstrating remarkable strength and resilience.

UPDATE: On November 7, 2025: Despite dementia, she was present. Despite fear, the children were safe. This ordinary family moment ended under San Diego’s Guardian ad Litem supervisor, Nicole McConn. Malaika and Xayah’s 88-year-old great-grandmother passed away. The little girl holding her hand in this photo is Malaika. Malaika brought joy to my mother in a way no court report, social worker, GAL, county counsel, or judge can erase. Yet San Diego County and the officials driving this case made sure my mother died without ever being allowed to see her great-grandchildren in our home — not once, not for one minute — even though that home was RFA approved. My mother had dementia. She had survived brain surgery. She did not understand why strangers were invading her family, separating the children she loved, and treating our home like it was dangerous. This is the human cost San Diego County will never put honestly in a report. San Diego County did not just separate children from parents. San Diego County separated great-grandchildren from an elderly great-grandmother who loved them, and then she was gone.

Her son, Ricky Robinson — the paternal grandfather of Malaika and Xayah Robinson — has been cut off from visits and relentlessly targeted with retaliation for exposing corruption, civil-rights violations, and abuse within the San Diego County child-welfare system.

Presiding officials including Judge Alexander M. Calero, Judge Alejandro Morales, County Counsel Jesica Nicole Fellman, Guardian ad Litem Supervisor Nicole McConn, Social Worker David Miller, Supervisor Nicole Montzingo-Avila, and Norma Olivares a shielded caregiver have each played a role in intimidation, coercion, retaliation, and the suppression of truth.

Lisa Haight, who spent more than a year engaged in character assassination against the paternal grandfather before vanishing from the case, remains emblematic of the cruelty and corruption that continue under her successor.

Norma Olivares, a non-relative caregiver — though not an official — has been protected by the agency while acting with deceit and manipulation to keep the children from their blood family. To deprive two innocent girls of their heritage and an elder of her great-granddaughters’ love is a violation of human dignity and family integrity.

These are not acts of protection.

They are acts of terror against truth-telling families who refuse to be silenced.

Until Malaika and Xayah Robinson are safely reunited with their family,

the Collective in Writing, Human Rights and Family Integrity Network will continue to record, reveal, and resist — for justice, for truth, and for every child’s right to come home.
