THEY HELD SIGNS THAT SAID I LOVE MOM. THEN THEY WERE FORCED TO SAY GOODBYE.
Malaika and Xayah walked into the Rancho San Diego Sheriff’s Station to see the mother they know and love. They walked out without knowing it would become the last time they would see her. A system that claims to protect children turned a mother’s embrace into a final goodbye and left two little girls carrying the consequences. This is what family destruction looks like.
