IN MEMORY OF AMY MARIE BROWN

November 4, 1977 – December 25, 2008

Happy Heavenly 49th Birthday, Amy.

Today, we remember Amy Brown, Keenan Robinson’s mother and the late grandmother of Malaika and Xayah Robinson.

Amy struggled with heroin addiction, but she was still a mother, a human being, and someone who deserved compassion, family support, and the opportunity to recover.

Instead, her family faced court-imposed restrictions that cut off visits and contact during a time when she desperately needed support. Even a psychiatrist urged that family communication continue, at least by telephone.

Her family fought those restrictions and challenged the conduct of the judge responsible.

The consequences of that separation did not simply disappear. Keenan carries the trauma and PTSD stemming from what happened to his mother. Now, as a father, he faces the devastating separation from his own daughters, Malaika and Xayah Robinson. He refuses to bow to a system or jump through endless hoops to prove his love for his children. His refusal to submit should never be mistaken for a lack of love or concern for his daughters.

Three generations. The same fundamental issue: the destruction of family bonds through court intervention.

Malaika and Xayah Robinson’s great-grandmother was also caught in the crosshairs of this ongoing family separation. She died on November 7, 2025, without ever seeing Malaika and Xayah returned to their loving family.

Amy deserved dignity, compassion, and the support of those who loved her. Keenan deserves his rights as a father. And Malaika and Xayah deserve their family.

Happy 49th birthday, Amy. You are not forgotten.

Ricky Robinson — Grandfather Under Attack

The persecution of this family continues through California’s Resource Family Approval (RFA) proceedings. What began as an approved grandfather’s effort to provide a safe, loving home for his granddaughters has become a severe and sustained attack on a senior citizen, grandfather, and approved RFA caregiver.

Ricky Robinson received RFA approval on September 4, 2024. Yet Malaika and Xayah Robinson were never permitted to enter or reside in his approved home. Despite this, the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) continues pursuing suspension and exclusion proceedings against him.

Pamela R. Lacy, Senior Staff Attorney with the CDSS Legal Division, is involved in pursuing these administrative proceedings. The documented history of shifting accusations, punitive restrictions, and continued administrative action raises serious questions of elder harassment, retaliation, persecution, corruption, and criminal abuse of government authority against a grandfather who exposed systemic corruption, criminal wrongdoing, and what he describes as pure evil within a child welfare system whose abuses have devastated families across the United States and around the world.

This is not simply a dispute over an RFA license. It is a sustained attack on a grandfather’s reputation, dignity, family relationships, and right to expose government corruption and criminal wrongdoing without retaliation.

This ongoing RFA proceeding demands independent scrutiny, full disclosure of the evidence, a criminal investigation into potential abuses of authority, and accountability for those responsible.
